Snapchat monetization requirements — the 28-day math
Lead: Invitation criteria are a stack. Hours are measured on a rolling 28-day window.
Invite stack (Snap Support)
- ≥ 15,000 hours view time last 28 days
- ≥ 3,000 of those hours from Spotlight (Spotlight ⊂ total)
- Snap Star
- 18+ / legal majority
- Eligible country
- Original, advertiser-friendly content; Community Guidelines + Recommendation Eligibility; Monetization Terms / Creator Monetization Policy
Max-rewards floor (separate)
Beginning May 7, 2026 — ≥ 100 hours Total Spotlight View Time last 28 days for maximum Creator Rewards. Track in Insights → Daily Rewards Eligibility.
Spotlight length for ads
Snap’s Monetization Program page currently says Spotlight videos must be at least 30 seconds long to be eligible to earn revenue. (If you see “1 minute” on blogs, prefer Snap Support.)
Cash-out
Snap states creators can manage payouts in-app with a $100 minimum cash-out when fully onboarded. That is operational detail for enrolled creators — not an earnings estimate.
Old program
Spotlight Rewards ended January 31, 2025. Do not treat it as live.
Math rules Klaro enforces
