About HowToMakeMoneyOnSnapchat.com

HowToMakeMoneyOnSnapchat.com is an independent reference for Snapchat creator monetization. It collects the rules Snap publishes: follower and view-time thresholds, country lists, payout and tax steps, and content policies. Each one is shown with the Snap page it came from and the date we last checked it. The same facts are available to people on this site and to AI assistants through our API and MCP server.

Nobody can promise you an income, and we don't. We show you what Snap has published and do simple, transparent math on numbers you give us.

Who runs it

HowToMakeMoneyOnSnapchat.com is run by NetNet Partners LLC, based in Murray, Utah.

Why it's independent

How the rules are checked (our methodology)

  1. Snap's own pages first. Every rule comes from a page Snap publishes, such as Snapchat Support articles, Snap's legal terms, Snap's policy pages and the Snap Newsroom. Each fact carries its source link, the publisher, and the date we verified it. The full list is on Sources (/sources), which today cites 24 distinct Snap pages behind 63 sourced facts in rules database 2026-09-30.4. Anything we couldn't confirm is labeled "unverified" instead of being presented as fact.
  2. A person approves every change. No rule is added, changed or removed without human review and approval. Each approved update gets a new rules-database version, so you can tell which version answered your question. The version is shown on pages and in every API response.
  3. Daily automatic change detection, never automatic publishing. Every day, an automated check re-reads the Snap source pages and compares each tracked value with our database. If a value looks different, or a page can't be read, it opens a ticket for human review. It never edits the rules and never publishes anything by itself.
  4. A public change history. Approved changes are listed on Rule changes (/snapchat-rule-changes) with the previous value, the new value, the source, and the dates. There's also an RSS feed.
  5. Calculations you can check. The calculators are deterministic: the same inputs and the same rules version always give the same answer, and projections are labeled as projections, not predictions.
  6. Public test results. Status (/status) runs a fixed set of checks against the live site after every deploy and on a regular schedule, and shows the expected and actual value for each. It shows 8 of 8 checks passing on rules database 2026-09-30.4.

Corrections

If you think something here is wrong or out of date, please tell us. Email hello@howtomakemoneyonsnapchat.com with:

We check the report against Snap's own published page. If we got it wrong, the fix goes through the same human approval as any other rule change, ships as a new rules-database version, and shows up on Rule changes (/snapchat-rule-changes). We aim to reply within 3 business days.

We can't correct your account status, your payouts or anything else inside Snapchat. For those, contact Snapchat Support.
